What is your work conditions in the company? 

- Caroline Svedbom always strive to have great work conditions. It is our responsibility and ambition as a brand that the people in the Caroline Svedbom team and suppliers are working under fair conditions. This includes both reasonable working hours and wages in the factory and office. We are working hard with policies and regulations in the field of health and safety to avoid occupational injuries and work-related ill health. We are always aiming to communicate around this topic to make sure these guidelines are followed.

What are your visions and goals for the future?

- Our goal is always to scale up to learn more about how we can make a difference. To achieve this, we are using our creativity, agility, honest and open relationship with our clients and customers. It has been a long road and we are far from perfect, but we always strive to improve our work. We want everyone to join us on our journey towards a better world. 

How do you work with social responsibility in the company? 

- We want the future jewelry industry to be grounded in equality and respect for nature. Therefore, we have paid more attention to our sustainability efforts and work progress during the last years. There are many new initiatives in our daily work - from products and packaging to innovative materials. We're also constantly working to make our sustainable choices easier and have for this reason decided to give you the opportunity to place your orders with a “green delivery”-option in the check out. 

As a natural part of our sustainability progress we have invested in recycling bins for both paper and plastic. We also have a composting machine at the office that reduces waste from food. The composting machine can reduce the volume of waste by up to 90%. It reduces waste costs and requires no transportation. We actively work to improve our operations from an ecological point of view by prioritizing environmental aspects in the work. This is done by following relevant environmental legislation, working with a systematic circular thinking where recycling is a key-word and also to improve our operations so that we reduce our negative environmental impact.
